About the Project

This project is a collaboration with S+A, which envisions a modern oasis, seamlessly blending urban density with nature through elevated gardens, rooftop terraces, and open-air courtyards. Inspired by the lush greenery of Princesa Isabel Square, the design introduces tree canopies, permeable surfaces, and shaded walkways, fostering a cooler microclimate and enhancing well-being. The twisting forms of the buildings, crafted from glulam timber, will stand as a new landmark for São Paulo, symbolizing a shift towards a more sustainable, nature-integrated, and tech-driven future. This innovative approach merges cutting-edge materials with biophilic design, setting a new standard for urban living—where architecture and the environment coexist in harmony.than a design proposal. A strategy to create more responsive, flexible, efficient and livable spaces.
